Bee-Hives

~As we all know Spring/Summer is just around the corner.  Well...Zach and I had been noticing a lot of Bee's flying around our window's.  We looked at each window around the house, and what do you know...they ALL had bee-hives.~

~We made it our missions to take them all down.  So we armored up (literally...put layers and layers of clothes on and got our hose all hooked up).  We tackled all 4 window's and now we have no more bee hives!~

---Here is the only picture I got of us in our "armor!"---

No bee stings for us! :)

-Gratitude-

I couldn't help but blog today about how grateful I am.  The last couple of weeks have been crazy and it has felt non-stop.  I just wanted to take a minute to express my gratitude for all the small blessing and tender mercies I have seen and felt even when we are going through a lot.

-I am grateful for my wonder family--both the Wilson's and Pages. They are always there for Zach and I no matter what.  They support us and serve us constantly
-I am grateful for wonderful doctors who have had clear minds and been able to help sick or injured family members.
-I am grateful that I am able to be an aunt to ALL of my nieces and my nephew.  They all bring such happiness into my life.
-I am grateful for technology in the sense that we can communicate with our loved those in times of need, but most of all i'm grateful for my Heavenly Father who always hears and answers my prayers--no matter how small the large the problem is.
-I am grateful for the beautiful weather and warmth that we have received.
-I am grateful that both my Zach and I have jobs and are able to provide for ourselves.
-Most of all, I am grate for my husband Zachary.  He is so strong and is always there to lift me up.  Zachary is so selfless and loving.  When I am down or having a rough day he is there no matter what.  I love him so much and couldn't have married a better man.

These scriptures were always some of my favorites growing up.  They are simple reminders that we are always blessed even when we may not feel it.  We should always express gratitude to our Heavenly Father.

D&C 59:7 Thou shalt thank the Lord thy God in all things.

Psalms 100: 3-4

Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is that he hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

PhotoBooth*!!

Soooo...me and my sister Alicia love cold things...for example...ice cream, slushies, smoothies, cold drinks, ect.  So we decided to use the buy one get one at Orange Julius in the Mall.

Zach and I, Jordan and Alicia all decided to go to the mall and get orange julius.  I need to give a little background...I had been telling Zach that I wanted to go the mall and take pictures in the photo booths....he didn't even think those things existed anymore.....well I found one!!! So after we drank our smoothies we did the photo booth.  Oh my goodness, we had so much fun. Here are our pictures! :)

I love surprises!

~The other day I was having a pretty off day and a way long week.  Well lets just say I have the greatest husband ever.  We were just laying down in bed and Zach said he got something as a surprise for me....He told me to guess but I honestly had no idea.  Zach got us Disney on Ice tickets! Lower bowl, row 24 (I think) and we get to face the ice skaters!!!!! I basically started crying!  I was so happy and he just made my day! :) I can't wait!~

We love our family!

I just wanted to say that zach and I love our families!  We are so grateful! :)

1 Year Anniversary!

On December 15th Zach and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary together!  I just don't know where time has gone, but I do know one thing...I know that every morning when I wake up I fall in love zach all over again and my love keeps growing.

Zach wrote something in our journal that I thought I would share.  He said "I love Marissa 365 times more than I did 365 days ago and we had the perfect anniversary."  I just loved that so much and it made me realize that love never dies down, it is always progressing!

So to celebrate our anniversary we went up to Salt Lake and went to Rumbi's for dinner at the Gateway Mall, then we went to the Jazz game!  We also got sit in the sauna and go swimming! I had so much fun.  I was sooooo bummed because my camera died after I got 2 awkward pictures of us at dinner. (Forgot the charger).  Then the next day we went to firehouse subs and saw a movie!  Then we went home and curled up together with our hot chocolate and watched the Grinch.  It was such a fabulous weekend!  I couldn't have asked for anything better!  I can't wait for more wonderful years to come :)

This was the only picture we got!
