We love our family!

I just wanted to say that zach and I love our families!  We are so grateful! :)

1 Year Anniversary!

On December 15th Zach and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary together!  I just don't know where time has gone, but I do know one thing...I know that every morning when I wake up I fall in love zach all over again and my love keeps growing.

Zach wrote something in our journal that I thought I would share.  He said "I love Marissa 365 times more than I did 365 days ago and we had the perfect anniversary."  I just loved that so much and it made me realize that love never dies down, it is always progressing!

So to celebrate our anniversary we went up to Salt Lake and went to Rumbi's for dinner at the Gateway Mall, then we went to the Jazz game!  We also got sit in the sauna and go swimming! I had so much fun.  I was sooooo bummed because my camera died after I got 2 awkward pictures of us at dinner. (Forgot the charger).  Then the next day we went to firehouse subs and saw a movie!  Then we went home and curled up together with our hot chocolate and watched the Grinch.  It was such a fabulous weekend!  I couldn't have asked for anything better!  I can't wait for more wonderful years to come :)

This was the only picture we got!

doTerra soccer league

Soo...I know I named this doTerra soccer league, but this post is going to be about soccer in general.  As we know all know Zach loves soccer.  He was able to play in a league with his team and they did a great job.  He played awesome and was my MVP on the field.  I loved being able to sit outside and watch him play!  They made it to the semi-finals and lost.  They sure played great though!

To cool to smile ;)

doTerra Team

Zach's favorite soccer team, Liverpool played last Saturday at 5:45 a.m.  Well, on Friday night Zach was soooo stoked for the game he said that it felt like Christmas eve.  Sure enough, the alarm clock went of at 5:45.  I got up with him to watch it, but I did fall asleep.  I tired though! :)  Liverpool did win and my baby was one happy man!

Zach just signed up for another soccer league through doTerra and will start up shortly.  I am excited for him to play again!

Beach Trip!!

Life is just crazy and I feel like I have no time to update our blog.  So I am going to play a quick catch up today!

I will start out with the annual Page beach trip.  That beach vacation was my 1st real "beach vacation."  Wow, the Page's sure spoiled us.  We had such a great time at the beach!  We played lots of games, eat great food, played in the water, got ice-cream basically every night and got to be with each other all week long.  It was full of love, joy and laughter.  It will forever be an unforgettable memory!

~Summer Adventures~

This summer has been great so far!  I just wanted to highlight a few of the things we have done so far!

* Abby, Zach and I decided we wanted to spend an evening at Thanksgiving point.  We got some dinner, browsed the shops and went and explored the dinosaur museum!  It was such a fun date night!

* Lets just say that Zach and I wanted to have a "girls night" together.  We ordered pizza and watched Bride Wars.  Zach is the best!

* We have been hanging out with family a lot lately and we feel so blessed!

* Landon left for Spain last week, and is loving life as a missionary. Carlos headed back to Mexico and will be back to go to UVU.  He will be playing with the UVU soccer team, and  Alicia gets home in less than a month!  We are so excited.

* Zach and I had our 6 month anniversary and we decided to get dinner...but after that we went to DI and got an old school box looking TV (the really small ones).  Well, it take VHS and so we got some of our childhood favorites and watched one of those movies.  We had a total blast.

* We just got a calling together in our ward.  We are now the 9 year old primary teachers.  We are stoked!

This video will just make you smile! :)
its also way funny!

* In just a few weeks will be leaving to go to North Carolina for the beach trip with the Pages!  We are just counting down the days!  We can't wait to see our family and go to the beach with them!  Well, that's all for now!

"Just Another Day In Paradise"

I wanted to start this entry off with a shout out to Miss Abigail!  She has been staying with us and will until the spring semester is over.  It has been a total blast.  It has been so fun getting to know her even better and to have her joy in our home.  She so fun, happy, and helpful!  We sure love you Abby!

Abby and I were talking and she said that while she was driving in the car she heard the song called "Just Another Day in Paradise."  She said she loved it and it just about made her cry. I have heard this song before, but didn't really pay to much attention to the lyrics.  I decided to listen to it and I just felt so much gratitude in my heart.  It just pretty much talks about how our day to days lives can become our paradise!  It just really opened my heart and made me want to be more grateful for each day.  I am also so grateful for my wonderful, loving husband.  He is the one to make my days my paradise!  I love you zach!

Park City!

This past weekend Zach and I were able to make a quick trip up to Park City and stay there for one night!  We had a absolute blast.  We got there and the 1st thing we did was watch the Celtic's last game, afterwards, we head up to main street for dinner.  We decided to go to the "Red Banjo."  It was a total blast, on our way back to the car we saw another couple walk past with an ice-cream cone in their hands....so we decided to treat ourselves to some ice cream!  It was delicious!  Then we went back and swam and relaxed in the hot tub.  The next morning we went the the park city outlets and we got some sweet deals.  We stopped for some lunch and stopped at a friends wedding reception on our way home!! Then we had some family over and watched a movie with some homemade pretzels :) (Thanks again Abby).  It was a very fun weekend and nice to get away for even a short period of time.

:)

Time goes by so fast! I have already been 1 month into my schooling at Utah College of Massage Therapy (http://www.ucmt.com/ucmt_massage.html), and Zach is finishing finals at BYU! Lets just say he is ready for this semester to get over.  He is now working full-time at doTerra and loving it.  I love the essential oils well(http://www.doterra.com/us/)  Especially the lemon scent :)  We can't believe that it is still snowing...it's April....we really don't want to have to pay the bill on heat at this time of the year...so we don't :) We just curl up in blankets and cuddle close to each other, nothing better, right? ;)  We had our 4 month anniversary this past week, almost every month on our anniversary we have had pizza, so I thought I would make a homemade pizza and spell out "4 months" with pepperonis.  So I did.  It turned out great!  It is really crazy to think that is has already been 4 months, but then again at the same time it feels like, wow, only 4 months.  Zach came home yesterday and said he feels like a veteran, we both just said that its weird to even think of life before we were married!  We love married life, it is truly wonderful.  We are so excited for this journey and just try to love each other more and more each and every day!  I am so grateful for him, and for his constant support in every aspect of my life! I love you zach!!Enjoy our videos :)

As of lately...

This past month has been a total blast!  Zach and I decided to go the Celtics vs. Jazz game and we invited some of my family to join.  They were all cheering for the Jazz, while Zach and I were yelling "Go Celtics!"  It was a very good game and Celtics won in overtime.  That was a total blast!
GO CELTICS!!!

My little brother Landon was in a futsal league and invited Zach to play the last 2 games with them.  Zach played very well and I was his biggest cheer leader.  They lost the first game and tied the second game...they should have won though.  I was sad that there was only 2 games, because I love watching my handsome husband play soccer.  He loves it with all of his heart, and he puts his whole heart into it.  Hopefully he will get to play more over this upcoming spring and summer!

All winter I have been dyyyyying to go snowboarding.  Finally we found a day that would work, and it really was the perfect day.  It was about 65 degrees.  We went up to Sundance Resort and went snowboarding from 4-8:30. Aubrey and Alyssa joined us as well.  The first half of the first run was pretty tough, but after that Zach picked up on it SO WELL!! I kept on telling him how impressed I was and he did a great job.  He only had a few good wipe outs, but then he would just get right back up and keep going.  Oh, and did I mention the snow was pretty much slush?  It really wasn't the greatest, but we had a wonderful time and its a memory we won't forget!

Life will be changing for us this coming week.  Today (Friday) is my last day of work and next week I start Massage Therapy School!  I am very excited.  Once Zach finishes this semester we will be working full time over the summer.  It will be an adjustment, but we are ready to roll!

By the way...We have been married 3 months today, we will be celebrating it tonight and I cant wait!! It truly has been the best three months of my life! I love my husband he makes me laugh every day and makes the happiest girl in the work!! :)
